Reinstatement Process
A student who has been academically dismissed at the end of a fall/spring semester and wishes to petition for reinstatement must follow the appropriate procedure below that describes their situation.
A student who has been academically dismissed and has sat out for one of more semesters must follow the appropriate procedure below that describes their situation.

- Submit appeal to Academic Standards Committee by appropriate deadline.
- Complete Exceed 15 credits Appeal if you wish to register for more than 15 units in the subsequent semester.
- Consult with Academic Advisor to review course options.
- You will be required to participate in the Academic Probation Program on Canvas during the semester.
*NOTE: A student who is academically dismissed may enroll in summer or winterim classes in an effort to improve their term or cumulative grade point average and academic standing. A dismissed student is not eligible for financial aid for summer or winterim classes.

- Apply for readmission through Undergraduate Admissions by appropriate deadlines.
- Complete Exceed 15 credits Appeal if you wish to register for more than 15 units in the subsequent semester.
- Submit official transcripts if you've attended a college outside of UWW (if applicable).
- Consult with Academic Advisor to review course options.
- Explore the Academic Standards website for more information.
