UW-Whitewater Career Services is excited to share our Sponsorship Program for the 2023-2024 year. This is an exclusive opportunity for you to reach and recruit our exceptional students beyond our standard services. If you’re looking for additional ways to enhance your brand and presence at UW-Whitewater, we invite you to consider becoming one of our sponsorship partners.
This year’s Sponsorship Program runs from September 1, 2023 through May 31, 2024. We’ve included information on this page about why you should sponsor our department and what benefits you will receive as a sponsor. Through our Sponsorship Programs, you will have more direct opportunities to build your organization’s brand and connect with our students who are ready to bring their skills to your organization.
To sign up for the program, complete the initial Sponsorship Program Agreement form on the last page of this brochure and return to Kim Apel at apelk@uww.edu. To ensure that you receive all benefits starting on September 1st, we need to receive your completed form by August 1, 2023. Forms received after this date will be accepted but all benefits may not be available on the first date of the program. After receiving your initial form, we will reach out to you to provide an official agreement contract & your invoice and to set up an introductory meeting to discuss the program.
Why Sponsor
Career Services is the primary connection point between employers and UW-Whitewater students. During the 2022-2023 academic year, we connected employers with our students via our 2 career fairs, information sessions & tables, interviews coordinated through Handshake and more. Additionally, our office sent over 300,000 email messages to students related to our events and services throughout the year.
Warhawks are engaging with our events and services. Here's a brief summary of our event and service usage for 22-23:
- 2,000+ Career Fair attendees
- 200+ Fall Career Week attendees
- 5,000+ Students used Handshake
- 300+ Warhawk Success Closet visitors
Our students understand the importance of taking charge of their own career paths.
Our Warhawk students are distinguished. UW-Whitewater is again a 2023-2024 College of Career Development Distinction. Additionally, organizations like yours continue to hire our graduates. This endorsement of our students’ skills is shown through the number of graduates (99.5%) that are hired within their fields or attend graduate school within the first 6-12 months after graduation.
Warhawks are well rounded. With over 50 academic majors available, students from UW-Whitewater develop skills across a variety of interdisciplinary programs. They are prepared to adapt to the ever-changing needs of the professional world.
Warhawks are involved. Last year, students were involved in UW-W’s 238 recognized student organizations. Additionally, over 2,750 students were employed on campus. Through these and other extracurricular opportunities, our students gain skills outside of the classroom to help them become significant contributors in the workforce.

- Receive priority for on-campus interview date selection (Priority request deadlines: Fall - 8/14/23; Spring 1/5/24)
- Posting on Career Services' social media (Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn simultaneously); 4 postings per year
- Targeted email message to UWW students; 4 emails per year
- Opportunity to participate in multiple exclusive events hosted by Career Services
- Registration fee included for 1 Fall and 2 Spring Career Services on-campus career fair dates. This includes:
- Priority table placement (in-person)
