Major and Career Exploration

Choosing a major and/or a career can feel overwhelming. Maybe you aren't sure how to narrow down all the majors or careers you are interested in, or you aren't even sure what your options are! Career Services can help.

Through an individual advising appointment, we can assist you in identifying how your interests, skills, and values, along with your experiences (through work, internships, student organizations, and/or volunteer experiences) connect to different majors and/or careers you may find fulfilling. In addition, we can offer a variety of strategies to help you learn more about careers you may be interested in as well as majors that will help you prepare for certain roles.

Check out the resources below to review the majors, minors, and graduate programs available at UW-Whitewater, and then schedule an appointment with a Career Advisor to continue the exploration process!
