Claudia Acosta

Claudia Acosta is a senior music education major who is about to start her student teaching portion of the degree this upcoming fall. Her primary instrument is double bass and has been involved in a variety of music ensembles here at UW-Whitewater which include: Jazz Ensemble I, Jazz Combo I, symphony orchestra, chamber orchestra, and more! She is also playing in the Lake Geneva Symphony Orchestra when not in school. She was also the president of the Jazz Education Network collegiate chapter this past school year. When not in school, Claudia likes to play video games, go thrifting, hiking, solve jigsaw puzzles, and play with her cat Nesquik. This is Claudia’s first year being a camp counselor for jazz camp and is excited to be a part of it!
