Andy Courtney

Andy Courtney works in the geospatial industry at NV5 Geospatial as a Project and Team Lead. He graduated from UW-Whitewater in 2014 with a BS in Geography. While at UWW, he participated in Dr. Frye’s first storm chasing course. In addition, Dr. Frye was a mentor to Andy on multiple undergraduate research projects, all related to severe weather. Currently, Andy assists Dr. Frye as an instructor for the storm chasing travel study course.  His goal is to provide students with the same remarkable experience he had as a student storm chasing in the Great Plains.
