John Frye

Dr. John Frye is an Associate Professor of meteorology and climatology in the Department of Geography, Geology, and Environmental Science. He has also has been chasing storms for the last 25 years; including offering a course at the UWW giving students the opportunity to experience storm chasing in the Great Plains. In addition to researching the occurrence of extreme weather events, Dr. Frye also examines the communication of information pertaining to weather events pre- and post-event.
