Double Helix
This is a community for students interested in science careers in biology, chemistry, physics, and environmental science.
Whether you like the scientific study of living things, the properties and behavior of matter or a combination of these, Double Helix can connect you with other young scientists wanting to study these same passions.
Outcomes:
- Explore the possibilities, from major exploration and academic resources to the many STEM related opportunities beyond the classroom.
- Grow an appreciation for the range of interests in the STEM community and navigate this with peers, faculty and staff.
- Build upon self-awareness for pursuing a STEM area. What is driving you?
Who can I live with if I join this Learning Community?
- You can live with anyone who has a room assignment in Tutt or Fischer Hall, including students who are in other LCs in Fischer
