Lucinda Heimer, PhD

Lucinda Heimer, PhD, Professor in Early Childhood Education at UW-Whitewater, has published articles, chapters, and a text (Reshaping Universal Preschool) on early childhood policy using critical theory and ethnography to illuminate perspectives of identity, race, and social justice centering equity.  Dr. Heimer has taught university courses on curriculum and pedagogy, racism in schools, and ECE policy, supervised students, taught in preschool and elementary classrooms, and worked as a center director. Her work spans public, private and Indigenous Nation settings. MSE ECEP Coordinator
