Remote Learning During COVID-19

In response to the rapid spread of the COVID-19 virus and the State of Wisconsin’s Safer-at-Home mandate, all students at the UW-Whitewater campuses were advised on March 12, 2020 that following a two-week Spring break, courses at UW-Whitewater would resume remotely for the remainder of the semester.  In order to gauge the impact of this transition, UW-Whitewater administered a ‘Remote Learning During COVID-19’ survey to all active students at both UW-Whitewater campuses. The survey contained seven (7) substantive questions related to the student experience in transitioning to an online learning environment in the middle of the Spring 2020 semester. The survey was open between April 13 – April 20, 2020, and over 25% of the survey population submitted responses during that time.
