In Great Teaching, Mutòpe Johnson, a lecturer of art and design at UW-Whitewater, talks about how he encourages students to think about ideas in a very creative way.
“You don’t have to be an artist in order to think creatively. I find myself being a friend, counselor, professor. I think that we can be effective when you care. So that’s where I am. I care, and I know that students care.”
