Employee Essentials

In progress, please check back.

Workday can be accessed using any computer or the mobile app. A link to Workday will be available once the new system has launched.

All employees should plan to log in to Workday as often as is required to submit their work hours, since all time tracking will be handled within the new system. Otherwise, the answer will vary from employee to employee, depending on their job responsibilities; some employees may need to log in multiple times a day, while others many only need to log in once a month. Managers should consider logging in daily to keep on top of requests from their team or HR processes that require their input.

The Workday mobile app is available on Apple and Android devices. Installing Workday on a Mobile Device.

Time Off & Absence Balances

All time off balances will transfer to Workday on the day of the transition.

All 15 holidays that the University observes will be pre-populated in the calendar feature for all employees, however fall break and spring break and other milestones in the academic calendar will not be noted.

You can only carry a negative balance for vacation time. If you request a sick or personal day without any time accrued, Workday will not allow you to submit the request.

Time off requests that have been approved before go-live will transfer to Workday. Time off requests that have not been approved will not transfer.
