Warhawk football returns to Perkins Stadium Sept. 17

Perkins StadiumThe defending national champion UW-Whitewater football team kicks off its home field schedule at noon Saturday, Sept. 17, against Campbellsville University.

"I'm really excited to begin our 2011 football campaign," said Paul Plinske, athletic director. "The Warhawks have an outstanding tradition of success and Perkins Stadium is the best venue in America to watch Division III football."

The Warhawks are three-time national champions and currently hold the NCAA's longest winning streak for any division.

Home games at UW-Whitewater are exciting, family-friendly events.

"Our fan support helps our team perform at the highest level," Plinkse said. "We encourage all fans to get out to the Perk for some of the best football in the country."

New this season, preferred parking spots will be available for $10 and general parking spots for $5. Click here for a parking map.

All parking proceeds will help cover Warhawk athletic expenses, including travel, uniforms, and other programs that enhance the student athletic experience, Plinske said. Free parking is available at all other campus lots.
