Emergency Procedures

University Police coordinates emergency management planning for the University of Wisconsin- Whitewater. Departments throughout campus contribute to the emergency operations plan by becoming responsible for their students.

The University has a webpage devoted to emergency information that you may find useful in planning for such an occasion and to use as a resource should an emergency occur. The webpage lists procedures and policies used to provide guidance for immediate response and the ensuing recovery process in the event of an emergency. The University will use this emergency webpage to post information as it becomes available.

Purple Emergency Guidebooks are placed in all classrooms on campus as well as various locations and offices on campus. If you wish to request an emergency guidebook, please email police@uww.edu.
