Heather Ackerly joined the UW-Whitewater Foundation staff in July 2019. She has over ten years of nonprofit development and marketing experience.

As the Annual Giving Manager, she provides Warhawk alumni and donors opportunities to support the University in ways that are meaningful to them. “I really enjoy meeting with UW-Whitewater alumni and hearing about their passion and love for this school. UW-Whitewater holds a special place in the hearts of our alumni and supporters.”

She holds a B.A. in English from the University of Kansas. She enjoys baking, traveling, writing and hopes to be like Jessica Fletcher someday.
