Ben Strand hails from the Uplands of southwestern Wisconsin.

He has over fifteen years of Higher Education fundraising and non-profit experience. As a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) he has demonstrated the highest standards in ethics and professionalism in fundraising.

Ben holds two degrees from the University of Wisconsin and an MFA from Goddard College in Vermont.

He has a long-standing commitment to the Wisconsin Idea and has actively promoted community engagement and curricular connections. Ben works with alumni and friends to build meaningful relationships that leverage the interests and talents of donors to strengthen the UW-Whitewater family.
