School Psychology Program Celebrates 50 Years!

We are thrilled to welcome you back to campus to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the UWW School Psychology Program preparing outstanding school psychologists in Wisconsin! Over the past 50 years, we have prepared nearly 500 school psychologists, who have been practicing across the U.S. and the world. All of our students are a testament to our success. Whether you are an alum, faculty member, student, or supporter of our program, we look forward to welcoming you back to campus as we celebrate five decades of excellence together! 

As part of our celebration, we look forward to recognizing alumni’s accomplishments. What are you most proud of? What stands out about your cohort? 4-4:30 p.m. Welcome Reception:
Gather for light appetizers and drinks, reconnect with fellow alumni and faculty, and meet current faculty and students. 
4:30-5 p.m. Presentation and Recognition of Alumni Accomplishments and Cohort Awards:
What are you most proud of? Nominate yourself and your cohort for special recognition. 
5-5:30 p.m. School Psychology Program Trivia:
How much do you recall about the history of school psychology and our program? Test your knowledge and win prizes! 
5:30-5:45 p.m. School Psychology Time Capsule:
What are your predictions about the next 50 years of the practice of school psychology? Share your thoughts! 

To mark this important milestone in our program, our students interviewed two of our former coordinators, Drs. Cliff O’Beirne and Jim Larson, to learn about what drew them to the profession and key milestones in the program and the profession. We invite you to view the video of their reflections.
