Affinity Groups

Reconnect, Network, and Thrive – Join an Affinity Group!

Affinity groups are a group of individuals who share an enduring connection to UWW—such as a sports team, year of graduation, academic program, or geographic location. These groups celebrate the collective stories of their members and strengthen their ties to UW-Whitewater. The following affinity groups are now forming and actively looking for members to join and help build lasting connections within the Warhawk community.

"I have such fond memories of my Supply Chain courses and classmates.  I have been in touch with a few in recent years, and hope to reconnect with many more and meet the more recent alumni from the program through this affinity group.  Re-engaging with the university and the foundation has been an uplifting experience for me!  I hope to inspire others to engage now! We are planning a tailgate for Homecoming on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025 – please join us!" -Sally Bean '81

"The King/Chávez Program has made a major impact on me beyond the classroom. It has gave me the ability to gain friends, family, a community, and skills that are presentable and intangible that I am grateful for. As someone from the Greater Chicago area, I hope to positively impact King Chávez scholars just as this program has profoundly impacted me." -Rasheed Goodman '22

Join the Resident Assistants Affinity Group, led by inaugural group leader Peter Glerum '90, UW-Whitewater Foundation Treasurer.

"Being an RA at UW-Whitewater for five semesters truly defined my college experience. Across generations, the deep bond we collectively created across buildings, residents and campus life is the glue that connects first and second year students to UWW.  35 years later I still find the connection with fellow resident assistants, both from UWW as well as other universities, as a timeless kinship. You should all be proud as you collectively chose to dedicate your time and energy to positively impacting campus life during your student days.  I’m asking for you to renew that impact and give back to Our Stories and Our Future."
