Current students have access to Handshake after they have registered for classes at SOAR and continue to have access through graduation. Here is some helpful information to log in.

- Click on UW-Whitewater NetID Logon (Students Only)
- Login with your UWW NetID and password and authenticate with Duo on your phone
- Answer Handshake's initial set up questions to set your job interests and preferences
- Complete your profile and upload your current resume
If you are a current student and Handshake says you do not have an account, please email us with your UWW email address at career@uww.edu and we will set up an account for you.
Future students do not receive access to Handshake until after they register for classes at a SOAR session, and will receive an email once their Handshake account is ready for use after SOAR. If you want to access Handshake before your SOAR date, please email us at career@uww.edu and we will set up an account for you.

Graduated more than 6 months ago:
If you graduated more than 6 months ago but had a Handshake account when you were a student, you have the option of reactivating your previous Handshake account to keep your previous profile or creating a new account. All students that attended between Spring 2018 and today had a Handshake account created for them and are welcome to reactivate that account.
To Reactivate Your Account:
Email career@uww.edu and provide your name (previous name if it changed since you attended), previous UWW email address and the email address you would like added to your old Handshake account. We will update the email for you, and you will need to set up a Handshake password.
To Create a New Alumni Account:
Go to Handshake, and click on “No account? Sign up here.” in the upper left hand corner. You should use your personal email account to sign up. Handshake may encourage you to use your UWW email, but personal emails are allowed for alumni since you no longer have UWW email access. After you create your account and verify your email address, please allow 2-3 business days for your account to be approved.
