Anderson Receives Collegiate Conference and Events Professional Certification

Disability Advocate, Best-Selling Author to Speak on the Americans with Disabilities Act at UW-Whitewater

Morgan Anderson, Assistant Dean, School of Graduate Studies and Continuing Education (SGSCE), University of Wisconsin-Whitewater has earned the Collegiate Conference and Events Professional Certification by the Association of Collegiate Conference and Events Directors-International (ACCED-I). Anderson was recognized at the Association’s 45th Annual Conference in Albuquerque on March 24, 2025.

The Collegiate Conference and Events Professional certification program (CCEP) was established by ACCED-I in 1991. Candidates are required to present evidence of substantial professional experience, volunteer service to the profession, and complete a lengthy research- based examination.

Anderson has been with SGSCE since June, 2022 in her current position since December, 2024. She has been in the conference and events profession for ten years and a member of ACCED-I since 2024. Upon receiving the CCEP designation, Anderson said, “Earning the CCEP designation validates my expertise in creating high-quality, engaging experiences within higher education. Through the process, I’ve created a strong network of colleagues to lean on and learn from. I’m grateful for the experience.”
