Warhawk Fall High School Baseball Clinic

The 2021 Warhawk Baseball High School Fall Skills Clinic will focus on providing a high-level baseball instructional and game-play experience. The clinic will aid in the fundamental and physical development of those in attendance. The clinic will offer a blended style of instruction and game-play for athletes. Instruction will be provided by members of the UW-Whitewater Baseball coaching staff and 2021-2022 roster.    This clinic is available to players in grades 8-12.

Limited to the first 80 registrants. 

Two Sessions Available | Sunday, October 3, 2021 

  • Full Day | 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
  • Pitching Only | 11:45 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Registration Questions

Registrants will be asked the following questions in the registration.  Please have the answers prior to registering:

Credit Card

Your online registration and payment are always safe and secure.  We accept MasterCard and Visa credit card payments in our online registration system.  We will NOT accept credit card payments over the phone.  We will accept checks made out to "UW-Whitewater" and mailed to UW-Whitewater Camps and Conferences, 800 West Main Street, Room 2005 Roseman Hall, Whitewater WI 53190.


Confirmation Emails
Once you register, a confirmation email will be sent to your email account. Contact cesevents@uww.edu if you do not receive this confirmation email. Historically, email accounts used from sbcglobal.net, comcast.net, centurytel.net and wi.rr.com are blocked from receiving notifications from us or may end up in your spam folder. You are able to register using these accounts; however, you will not receive emails from us. Please make sure you have a working email address on file with us to be able to receive important announcements and updates about this event.

Cost Information

Full Session: $110

Pitcher Only Session: $75

Included in the Fee: The event fee includes instruction, t-shirt and insurance. 

Those registrants that enrolled during the register risk free time-period will be notified by email when payment is due.

All registrant accounts must be paid in full one week (7 days) prior to the start of event. Registrants with outstanding balances after payment is due in full are subject to being removed from the event roster without refund. Please contact Continuing Education Services at cesevents@uww.edu prior to this deadline if extenuating circumstances prevent you from completing a payment.

In the event of a cancellation, Continuing Education Services should be notified no later than 21 days before the start of the event session in order to receive a refund, less 20% administrative fee. Cancellation request received less than 21 days from the start of camp will receive a refund minus 50% late cancellation fee of event cost. Cancellations due to medical reasons will receive a full refund, less the 20% administrative fee, if the cancellation is requested and medical documentation is provided prior to the start of event. Valid medical cancellations must include a signed letter from a licensed physician to qualify.   NO REFUNDS will be given for withdrawal due to early departures, disciplinary reasons or no show after the event has started. 

Full refund will be given to families who need to cancel because of COVID illness.

All cancellation requests must be submitted to cesevents@uww.edu; provide registrant’s name, camp and medical documentation, if applicable. Refunds will be returned to name an address of payer.

We reserve the right to cancel any event due to low enrollment; in this case, all fees paid will be refunded.

Sponsorships & Awards Redemption
For those participants who will be receiving a sponsorship to attend this event: Register and use the promo code your sponsor gave you. The sponsorship will be deducted from your invoice.  Any remaining balance remains the participant's responsibility. Any cancellations will result in the sponsorship funds being returned to the supporting organization.

Any qualifying discounts given by the event will not be applied after you have paid in full. Be sure to use the promo code during check out to receive your discount. You will be charged if you do not qualify for requested discount at the start of event.

A processing fee will be assessed if a refund is issued due to overpayment on your account.

Want to Sponsor a Registrant?
You can sponsor a registrant and cover all or partial fees. We have received requests in the past from schools, companies, organizations, friends and family members that would like to send their chosen registrant to a specific event. If you would like to sponsor a registrant, you can request a promo code that you may give to your chosen registrant. Click here for more details.

Team Discount

Teams can receive 25% off the regular prices when eight (8) or more register to attend one of our Baseball Clinics this 2021-2022 season.  Make sure to use 8Group25 promo code at check out if you believe you will qualify.  No other discounts will be applied.  Discounts cannot be applied after you register and pay.  You will be charged 25% in April if fewer than eight (8) team members do not attend from your team.

Arrival Information

Check In

Check-in will take place at Miller Stadium Gate Entrance thirty minutes prior to each session. Remember to practice social distancing while waiting in line.  Coaches will greet all registrants and ask them the three COVID-19 survey questions listed in the COVID-19 Information frequently asked questions.  Parents can wait in their car or return when registrant's session is over.  Parents are not allowed in the building.  Face coverings will be required upon entering, exiting the building, using the rest room, or waiting for classes to take place.  Due to the mask mandate all participants will need to participate with masks on. Coaches will have the discretion to allow masks to be removed and special care will be taken to ensure athletes get breaks when needed, and maintain the utmost safety during their practices.

Parking
Parking permits are required on all vehicles parked on campus at all times, with the exception of 5 p.m. Fridays to 11:00 p.m. Sundays. You will NOT need a permit to attend this event. More information on parking is on the  Visitor Center website.

By registering for an event, you agree to our Registration Terms and Conditions. UW-Whitewater will hold all registrants responsible for their conduct.  Serious misconduct or disruption will lead to immediate dismissal from event.  Registrants dismissed from the event will not receive a refund.  Please review the Terms and Conditions for more details.

Be aware that we recommend that all portable electronic devices be left at home, but ultimately it is your decision. We know that parents and children value the ability to be able to call each other at a moment's notice.  For that reason, we do not prohibit cell phones at camp, but ask that cell phone use does not interfere with the event and other participants.  Parents are responsible for setting clear guidelines for cell use with their child.  We will not be responsible for any lost or stolen items.

Insurance

Registrants are encouraged to have their own health insurance as accident insurance provided by the University is limited. Each registrant will be covered by a limited accident insurance policy. The insurance includes primary coverage up to $10,000. Insurance does not cover pre-existing injuries and is for accidents only. The cost of insurance is included in the registration fee.

  • Cleats – metal is allowed for position players; all pitchers must wear turfs or tennis shoes. (No cleats on mound or bullpen)

Warhawk apparel will be available for purchase on site!

Prucha Field at James B. Miller Stadium

Located on the north end of campus in the Kachel Family Sports Complex, Prucha Field at James B. Miller Stadium has seen a wave of player and spectator enhancements.   The first improvements to Prucha Field were additional fencing and permanent dugouts.  The improvements have included batting cages, press box, umpire’s room, stadium seating for 400, a new backstop and fencing, irrigation, locker room, synthetic turf, entryway, sidewalks and scoreboard.

Kachel Fieldhouse

The 50,000 square foot space is an all-purpose facility that performs numerous functions for members of the campus and community. 

Converse Track is a 200 meter Beynon BSS 1000 synthetic surface (Hobart encapsulated), eight lanes in the straightaways and six in the turns, where ¼ inch pyramid spikes are used. There is a 130 foot long jump runway, with the pit ten feet from the board, and an unlimited triple jump runway with boards at 28, 32, 36, and 40 feet, and wood boards at 28 and 36 feet. The pole vault has a 120 foot runway, and there are two rings for throwing events, both with laser measuring. 

The fieldhouse also houses four multi-purpose courts for indoor tennis. That facility was redone in 2012 with a tennis friendly surface to slow the bounce down to a more true tennis bounce. Baseball and softball do some of their off-season work in the fieldhouse and indoor batting cages and mounds help out when inclement spring weather occurs. The Warhawk volleyball team also uses the fieldhouse, with tournaments occupying several courts in addition to Russell Arena.  The fieldhouse can also set up four basketball courts for general recreation or intramurals.
