Hello, and thank you for visiting my profile!
My name is Lindsey Stugard! I am a second year graduate assistant and second year in the School Psychology MS/EdS program. I recently graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies, and a minor in Disability Rights and Services. Currently, I am completing my practicum experience at an elementary school. For my specialist project, I am evaluating the intervention, Second Step, and how that impacts SEL outcomes of students. Additionally, I am working with Dr. Caleb Flack on a research project that examines the Parent-Teacher relationship, and how that impacts students socially and emotionally. In my future career, I aspire to be a school psychologist that prioritizes a “whole child” or comprehensive approach, bridging the gaps between families and schools, recognizing and acknowledging variables outside of the school and emphasizing strengths and uses those as tools to leverge growth. Please reach out with any questions and/or concerns, I am happy to help!
