I have interdisciplinary training in planning, sustainability, and geography, and over a decade of experience as a development practitioner. I have worked with public sector institutions and non-profits on projects that focused on strenghtening government systems and localizing the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goal 6. Part of my work also invovled the development of indicators and guidelines for monitoring water services in rural and small towns in Ghana. My current research is focused on water (in)security, water governance and policy, and WASH-customer services. I am also interested in exploring how development financing could be targeted to optimize the outcomes and impacts of WASH interventions.

At UW-Whitewater, I teach introductory and upper-level courses, including Global Perspectives (CORE 140) and Sustainable Development and Human-Environment Geography (GEOG 452).
