I have a variety of teaching interests, but I mainly teach ethics classes (Intro to Ethics, Contemporary Moral Issues, Environmental Ethics). I also teach World of Ideas (which I love). As of now that class focuses on the philosophy and psychology of happiness. In my research, I work primarily in moral psychology, with an emphasis on empathy and shared emotion.
