Martin Tchernookov

Dr. Tchernookov received a bachelor's degree in physics from Caltech and a doctoral degree from the University of Chicago. He has held postdoctoral positions at Emory Univeresity in Atlanta, GA, and McGill University in Montreal, Canada. His research interests lie in the field of computational statistical physics, particularly in regard to problems of biological relevance. He is also a proponent of the open source software community, manages a cluster of Linux workstations, and develops apps in his spare time. He works with students on digital electronics and coding (Python, C++) projects.
