Sydney Hall, a second-year graduate student at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, is making strides in her academic and professional journey as she pursues a Master of Business Administration while working as an Assistant Complex Director with UW-Whitewater Housing and Residence Life.

Sydney graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 2022 with double majors in Communication and Organizational Leadership and a minor in Psychology. While working as a Resident Assistant during her undergraduate years, she discovered her passion for creating positive and meaningful housing experiences for college students. This passion inspired her to pursue a career in campus housing and led her to enroll in UW-Whitewater's MBA program.

“I fell in love with UW-Whitewater's MBA program, which offered a flexible schedule and access to supportive professors and advisors,” said Sydney. “While pursuing my degree, I have also worked as an Assistant Complex Director with UW-Whitewater Housing and Residence Life. This role has been an incredible opportunity to apply my MBA coursework in real-life settings while continuing to work closely with students.”

Sydney credits UW-Whitewater for promoting an environment that allowed her to excel both academically and professionally. “I am so grateful for the support and resources provided by UW-Whitewater, which have allowed me to pursue my degree and my passion for working with students,” she said. “My goal is to continue making a positive impact on the lives of college students through my work in campus housing and residence life.”

Sydney’s journey highlights the unique blend of academic rigor and practical experience offered at UW-Whitewater. Her story underscores the university’s commitment to empowering students to achieve their goals and make meaningful contributions to their communities.
