Jeannette Russell profile picture

Dr. Jeannette Russell is an accomplished and respected professional in Education. She completed her undergraduate degree at Marquette University, Masters of Education at DePaul University, and has a doctoral degree in Language and Literacy from Cardinal Stritch University. Her career encompasses 16-years of performance-driven leadership as a classroom teacher and as an instructional coach. Jeannette has taught several different grade levels from pre-kindergarten to high school English in Chicago and Milwaukee Public Schools. Most recently, Jeannette served as a School Support Teacher where she facilitated professional development on best instructional practices to improve students' academic performance.  Jeannette is an Associate Lecturer in the ECE4U program where she teaches Emergent Literacy and Beginning Reading and Literacy Assessments and Responsive Intervention Strategies. Jeannette lives in Milwaukee and enjoys spending time with her husband and three daughters. Outside of working with teachers and administrators full time at Lexia Learning and promoting literacy development for ALL learners, you can find her at Orange Theory Fitness, working on her first children’s book, and researching other business ventures.

Fun facts: Jeannette is an identical twin and also has a set of fraternal twins of her own. She was a sprinter for Marquette University and still holds several records.  Go MU!
