UW-Whitewater Announces the Glenn D. Diedrich History Scholarship

The Glenn D. Diedrich History Scholarship  is made in memory of Glenn Dale Diedrich, ’87, who was an inquisitive explorer and champion of Wisconsin.

Glenn traveled the world and always sought out adventure. He embraced the culture of every country he traveled to. He would try all the local food and beverages, no matter what it was. Glenn was full of life and was always the life of the party. First to arrive, last to leave, and always willing to help. He was a historian, educator, and lifelong learner. He dedicated his life to giving back to others and always saw the best in people.

This scholarship will award $1,000 to encourage and assist a UW-Whitewater student pursing a degree in History Education and is available in the fall of 2024 at uww.edu/scholarships.
