Drug Violation Sanctions

Sanctioning for multiple Alcohol- or Drug-related violations will likely be treated consecutively.

1st DRUG RELATED VIOLATION

1. Probation for minimum of one year
2. Assign to Marijuana 101
3. 5 hours university service
4. 3-5 page reflection paper
5. Parental Notification

2nd DRUG RELATED VIOLATION

1. Probation tenure
2. Residence hall relocation and/or ban likely (Depending on where the violations took place)
3. Assignment to CHOICES program, the student will be charged $100.00 for this program
4. 8 page reflection paper on the CHOICES Program and their entire experience since first being found responsible for drugs
5. Parental Notification
6. Cancellation is a possibility

3rd DRUG RELATED VIOLATION

Case is automatically sent to the Assistant Director-Community Development for adjudication

The above sanctions are likely consequences of typical Drug violations.

Each case is treated and decided individually.
