Project Description:
An emphasis on infrastructure upgrades, sustainability and accessibility are the driving factors in the Fischer Hall Renovation. The Fischer Hall Renovation includes:
- Accessible, ground level entrance with a new front desk presence
- A complete bathroom upgrade for function and accessibility including a separate assisted bathroom on each living floor
- Elevator
- Mechanical Room upgrades (electrical, HVAC, fire safety, plumbing)
- Upgraded room radiators
- New energy efficient windows
- Sprinkler system for enhanced fire safety
- Data wire upgrade
- Reconfigured basement for maximized space usage
- A/C - Basement and Floor Lounges
- Automatic door openers and doorway modifications in common area doorways and accessible rooms
- New interior finishes (paint, new doors and flooring)
- Replacement furniture as needed
