The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater understands the importance of sustainability and has a mission to teach students about their personal responsibility when it comes to reducing an overall carbon footprint. University Housing has a crucial role in this mission and encourages residents to incorporate sustainable habits into their everyday lives, on campus and in the residential halls. This is done by educating, empowering, and motivating student residents through a variety of sustainable programs and initiatives.
