Below is a list of existing .net web applications developed by the ITS Web Team.

The CSD Alt Media application allows students to submit books or documents they would like the Center for Student Disabilities to transform to meet a student’s learning needs. Books and documents are able to be transformed into a Kurzweil 3000 file, large print, braille, audio (Mp3), or additional requests based on the student’s need from a request submitted within the application.

The Announcements application allows the campus community to submit announcements for approval and distribution to select groups. Announcements are sent as emails and posted to announcements.uww.edu.

The Audit Review application allows campus programs to submit annual self-study to the assessment office electronically. Submitters of the report have the functionality to grant others access to edit the report. Once approved by their dean, they submit the report to their program’s dean for approval and feedback. Upon approval from the dean the finalized report is submitted to assessment office for review.

The Course Fees application allows faculty/staff to request fees for on-campus courses as well as online/distance ed courses. “Approvers” can then approve or deny the requests, and “Admins” can complete or deny requests. Further, the Registrar can assess any completed fees and the budget office can verify any assessed fees.

The Courses application allows students to view course information for courses that are offered during the current or upcoming semesters. The application also allows instructors to upload syllabi for courses that they teach, and ADAs to upload syllabi for courses within their department.

The CSD Testing application allows students to request an alternate testing date/time for exams in courses they are enrolled in. Information in the request is submitted to be reviewed and accepted or rejected at the discretion of select users in the Center for Student Disabilities (CSD) office.

The Emergency application is used to notify the campus in the event of an Emergency. The application will display a banner on the homepage with limited details and provide a link to the app that can be clicked on to get more detailed information. The application can also send out a campus-wide email, an Informacast push notification, and an SMS message to a phone number in the event of an emergency.

The Employee Rehire application allows faculty/staff to submit academic staff rehire requests for approval. A contract and email are generated through the application and sent to the employee.

The Employment Application is used by HR to post current UW-Whitewater job openings. The front end tool can be viewed and the admin portion.

The Funding Request application allows Faculty/Staff to request funding for different projects, including One-time Facilities/Salary/Non-Salary/Student Help and Ongoing Non-Salary/Salary/FTE. 'Approvers' can then approve or deny the requests, and 'Admins' can complete or deny requests.

The HR Change of Status application allows you to submit a change of status request for employees. Once the request has been approved through the workflow, HR will complete the submitted request and enter it into HRS.

The HR Student Change of Status (Student Employment) application allows you to submit a change of status request or a new student hire request for student employees. Once the request has been approved through the workflow, HR will complete the submitted request and enter it into HRS.

The FPM-Key application allows you to submit requests related to keys and locks on campus. You can request: new keys, replacement keys, and department checkout, return keys either transfer or exit, and also request a lock be changed.

The Writing Awards application allows Faculty/Staff to submit writing award nominations for their students. The students can then acknowledge or deny the requests, and the Writing Awards committee can complete or deny requests.
