Resources and Support
Established in 2008, the PB Poorman Pride Center strives to provide an open and welcoming space for all LGBTQ and ally students to relax, study, and socialize. The Center employs student leaders to support the development of LGBTQ life and programming on campus, and to encourage mentorship. The staff recognizes the range of diversity and multiple, intersecting identities that make up the LGBTQ community, and strive to apply this understanding to all aspects of outreach and collaboration.

On Campus
Hate & Bias Reporting
To help us maintain a welcoming and equitable campus, you can use this form to report experiences with hate and bias. Completing this form does not mean you are filing a formal complaint. In many cases, incidents of bias do not violate campus policy, but rather offer an opportunity to educate and improve our campus climate. The reporting form is securely transmitted to the Dean of Students Office. Find the form here.
University Health and Counseling Services offers free, confidential counseling to all enrolled students. To schedule a counseling appointment, call 262-472-1305.
Food Pantry & MyMeals CARES
Two campus programs assist enrolled students with food insecurity. The Food Pantry, located at 847 W. Starin Road, offers nonperishable foods and toiletries. For more information, contact them at 262-472-1757. The MyMeals CARES program is sponsored by Aladdin and offers 25 meals to students experiencing temporary food insecurity. Contact LGBT* Coordinator, Stephanie Selvick, for more information.
Warhawk Emergency Fund
UWW’s emergency aid program was designed to help students stay in college and meet their educational goals by providing assistance during an unexpected financial emergency. Students who have an EFC (expected family contribution) of $7,000 or less are eligible to receive a grant up to $1,000. You can locate more information and apply by clicking here to their website.
UHCS TransHealth
UHCS strives to support our trans and gender diverse students. They offer hormone replacement therapy and student support groups for both gender and sexual diversity.
