Kimberly Kostka
Interim Assoc. Dean (B), Professor

Kim Kostka is a member of the College of Integrated Studies. In her role as a chemistry professor, she works mainly with first-year students and has designed several innovative approaches for delivering chemistry instruction through online-only study-from-home labs, created courses broadcast to multiple sites at once, and online instruction.  She also develops new laboratory explorations for students to enjoy and learn chemistry.
In addition, Kim is the Interim Associate Dean for the campus, where she works with the Dean's office to manage current academic programs and develop new programs to serve community needs. 
In the past, she directed the Flexible Option Program which is the competency-based education program managed by the Universities of Wisconsin, directed the UW-System Women in Science Program, and various other administrative roles.
