James R. Connor University Center Board
Function
This board shall review the services, activities, programs, operations, and facilities of the James R. Connor University Center. The board's primary mission shall be to recommend policies, procedures and methods whereby the James R. Connor University Center shall be both supportive and complimentary of the general education program of the University.
The James R. Connor University Center Board may form subcommittees in the areas of cash dining service, facilities, and other ad hoc committees as deemed appropriate. The board shall select one of its members to serve an annual appointment on the James R. Connor University Center Marketing Committee and other committees as requested by the Director of the James R. Connor University Center. The constituency of the James R. Connor University Center Board is:
- Nine students, one from each of the following constituencies:
- Residence Hall Association (RHA)
- James R. Connor University Center Activities Board
- All Greek Representative
- Connection Student Council
- Disability Advocacy Awareness Coalition (DAAC)
- James R. Connor University Center Student Employees
- Adult Student Connections
- Whitewater Student Government (two students)
- Two faculty members appointed by the Faculty Senate (two years alternating terms)
- Two academic staff members appointed by the Academic Staff Assembly (two years alternating terms)
- Two university staff members appointed by the University Staff Council (two years alternating terms)
- Director of the James R. Connor University Center, ex-officio (nonvoting)
