Jessica Stein
Welcome
Hello! My name is Jessica Stein and I am the Coordinator for Early Success in the Academic Advising & Exploration Center (AAEC). I received my undergraduate degrees from UW-Milwaukee in Psychology and American Sign Language Studies, then went directly to Florida State University to get my Master’s in Higher Education. I started working at UW-Whitewater and the AAEC in 2018. Prior to UW-Whitewater, I worked at UW-Milwaukee and the University of Maryland. Outside of the office, I love spending time with my family, exploring new places, being outdoors, cooking and baking, and cheering on the Packers, Brewers, and Capitals. If you have any good dad jokes, be sure to share them with me because they are my absolute favorite.
Advice for New Students:College is a new place where you will have a lot of new experiences. Keep an open mind and try new things! Along the way, you’ll have questions and need help… everyone does! Ask for help. There are so many people on campus who are here to help you, you just need to ask. If you’re not sure who to ask, pick someone to start with; chances are they can help you or get you to someone who can.
