Crista Lebens

Crista Lebens teaches courses in philosophy and women’s & gender studies, including Classical Philosophy, Social Philosophy, Bioethics, Feminist Philosophy, Philosophy of Gender & Race, and Lesbian Studies.  Her areas of research include feminist philosophy and philosophy of race, focusing particularly on social ontology (the metaphysics of multiple enmeshed social identities) and resistance to multiple forms of oppression.   When not involved in these pursuits, she likes to go for bike rides or other fun, outdoor activities.
