The online certificate in Graduate Business Foundations is designed to provide a breadth of business knowledge at the graduate level. This certificate can serve as a stand-alone program to help broaden your understanding of business, or as initial preparation for pursuing an MBA or other graduate business degree.
Certificate Requirements:
The Graduate Business Foundations certificate program requires completion of five courses. All courses are 2 credits each and are available online. For course list and descriptions, visit the Graduate Catalog.
NOTE: These courses fulfill the Common Body of Knowledge requirements that must be completed by some students enrolling in the UW-Whitewater Master of Business Administration program. (These students typically do not have an undergraduate degree in business.) However, these courses cannot be applied toward the MBA program's 36-credit degree requirements.
Admission Requirements:
No GMAT required.
To qualify for admission to the certificate program in good standing, you must have a bachelor's degree from a regionally-accredited institution with an overall grade point average (G.P.A.) of 2.75 or above.
What if you do not meet the admission requirements? Please email or call us at (262) 472-1945 to see if you could be admitted on a conditional basis.
