Christopher Hovorka

Christopher is currently an associate lecturer for the ECE4U program at UWW and developed an interest in researching the effects of humor while working towards a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology-Cognitive Development and Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and finally Edgewood College.  His interest was initially based on personal experiences he had while working for over 16 years as a special education teacher in an urban school district (Racine, WI) and is now a special education teacher in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. It is his hope that his experience and research can provide a useful tool for other teachers and staff to use while engaging others in school settings, especially when working on student-staff relationships within an urban academic setting.
