Leadership and Military Science
The University of Wisconsin - Whitewater Leadership and Military Science department develops students to become leaders in either the Army, Air Force or civilian career fields. There are three paths to obtain a minor in Leadership, and those paths are specific to the individual student on their desires to either work in the Army, Air Force or Civilian career path.
Through the combination of University of Wisconsin - Whitewater values and Army Values, the Leadership, Military Science and Aerospace Studies Department design and function as both a curricular and co-curricular program which emphasizes experiential and collaborative learning. The leadership program provides external training and educating opportunities unlike any other program on campus that builds character and competencies in our students. Diversity in thought, ideas and solutions is a primary focus for our department to aid in the future leader's ability to solve complex worldly problems.
The Leadership and Military Science Department molds quality leaders who leave the program prepared to serve as leaders in the community. Our students learn to lead from the front in today's workplace and in the military.
