Temporary Positions (USTE)

University Staff Temporary Employment (USTE) positions are University Staff hourly appointments not greater than 1,040 hours in a 12-month period where the need for the position and/or duties are temporary in nature (seasonal, project-based, or occur on an irregular basis). A USTE employee has no expectation of continued employment, but may apply to permanent positions as an internal candidate.
