Peer Mentors serve as a resource to new students during their first semester at UW-Whitewater, leading them through Warhawk Welcome, joining them in their New Student Seminar section, and checking-in individually. Throughout the fall semester, Peer Mentors remain in contact with new students to answer questions and help them feel at home on campus.
If you're a freshman at UW-Whitewater, you've got a Peer Mentor!
Are you interested in developing your leadership, communication, and group facilitation skills? Do you see yourself as a role model and support for peers? This paid position is a great way to gain experience and will help you develop stronger peer, faculty, and staff connections.
Please contact Marie Hornickel, Assistant Director of First Year Experience, with any questions.
