Spirit Program
About
The UW-Whitewater Spirit Program is comprised of three major components: cheer, dance and Willie Warhawk. All squads in the program typically cheers and performs at home and away contests for football and basketball. The Warlettes are a new majorette dance squad that will perform at all home football and men's and women's basketball games. Details for each squad can be found via the respective tabs below.

Cheerleading has two squads: Purple Coed and White Coed
The Purple Coed Squad cheers at all home and away football and men's basketball games
The White Coed squad cheers at home football and home/away women's basketball games

The Dance Team has one squad and performs at all home contests for football along with men's and women's basketball.

The Warlettes are a majorette hip hop dance team who will be performing in the stands at Warhawk Football games.

Willie Warhawk is the official mascot for the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Willie enjoys engaging with our fantastic students, faculty and staff on campus, with community members and with fans all over the world. He enjoys listening to the music performed by our outstanding Warhawk Marching Band and other ensembles. His favorite songs include the Warhawk Strut, the Warhawk Fight Song and the UW-Whitewater Alma Mater. His favorite color is purple and he enjoys any blend of purple and white. Willie enjoys saving his money – UW-Whitewater is annually rated as the best value among the Universities of Wisconsin – so he can award it in scholarships to deserving students.
Willie Warhawk is present for all home football and basketball games. Willie also makes appearances at other athletic, campus, and community events.

Suit up on specific game days and for certain on-campus/community engagements to represent UW-Whitewater and help make memories for current, former and future Warhawks!
