Faculty & Staff Parking
General Information
Parking permits are now digital and are enforced via License Plate Recognition (LPR). This means you will not receive any physical permit, because your license plate is your permit. Therefore, it is the permit holder's responsibility to maintain an accurate vehicle record. If there is any need to change vehicle associated with a permit, please log into the Parking Portal and make the necessary changes directly under your permit.

Prorations and refunds:
Faculty/Staff permits are valid from the time of purchase through the end of August, and have their prices prorated throughout the year. If you leave campus and are no longer considered a staff member, your permit will be revoked. Information regarding refunds and prorations can be found here.
Permit Types
Faculty/Staff permits cover many areas of campus, and allow for overnight parking in any of the designated lots. Note that street parking is never allowed overnight (2AM-5AM). Faculty/Staff permits also allow the use of Service stalls for up to 30 minutes. For more information about using Service stalls, check out the Service Vehicle policy. Faculty/Staff permits are not valid in resident lots, or in reserved, restricted, or metered (AMP) stalls.
Reserved permits are another option available for staff members and offer all the parking privileges of a Faculty/Staff permit with the addition of access to a specific lot’s reserved parking section. Reserved stalls in campus parking lots are reserved at all times and are designated with red signs. Contact Parking Services regarding availability. In areas where all stalls are assigned, a waiting list is maintained.
The last annual option available to employees is a North Commuter permit, which offers limited access to a few lots on the north end of campus. Please see this page for more information regarding Commuter permit regulations.
Here’s a breakdown of each permit option:
Faculty/Staff: $235
Reserved (Lot 12, 13, or 14): $535
North Commuter: $155
Motorcycle permits are also available, learn more here.
Employees purchasing permits from August through December may choose Payroll Deduction as their payment method. This will result in bi-weekly payroll deductions that end in January. Employees purchasing a permit from January through July must enter valid card information to pay for their permit.
