What is SUFAC? Look at your student bill sometime, there will be a line that says "Consolidated Seg Fees." Every full-time student at UW-Whitewater pays this fee each semester called a Segregated University Fee (SUF). This fee funds numerous activites, programs, and student organizations on campus (See UWW SUF Policy for a breakdown of fees).

SUFAC, short for the Segregated University Fee Allocation Committee, is the group of students that is charged with the allocation and review of these funds. The group is made up of representatives from each college and the Whitewater Student Government (WSG), to ensure voices and ideas from across campus are heard and listened to. See the current committee makeup below. SUFAC's job is to look at budget requests, host hearings, and make funding recommendations to WSG, the Chancellor, and ultimately the UW Board of Regents for final approval.

In order to utilize these funds, you will need to submit a SUF budget request to SUFAC for review and approval.  The request process takes place in the fall of the year PRIOR to spending (for example, allocation requests for the 2025-2026 school year were submitted in October 2024).
