PODS

Ma’iingan Hall, UW-Whitewater’s newest residence hall, includes 100 pods ideal for groups of four. Each pod includes two living areas, space in between them, and a bathroom — each of the two bedrooms can comfortably accommodate two people. Ma’iingan is also built for accessibility, a hallmark of the university’s priority mission to support students with disabilities.

A virtual image shows a square room with two sets of shelves, two desks with chairs, two beds, and a window.

A standard pod in Ma’iingan Hall is a 32’ by 26’ area with 12.5’ by 14’ bedrooms. The virtual image above is of a standard pod — the exact dimensions may vary from room to room.

After receiving their room assignment, students will receive a link from Roomies. The link includes specific dimensions of the room and all the pieces of furniture in the room, and allows you to move and adjust room components virtually to visualize what the room could look like in preparation for move-in day. (Please note, it will be the responsibility of the student to move furniture and lay out the room on move-in day.)
