About Us
CATLST Staff Members
CATLST is comprised of a group of passionate educators committed to enhancing teaching and learning excellence at UW-Whitewater.
CATLST Fellows
CATLST Fellows assist the center in developing and supporting engaging programming that allows UWW faculty and staff to explore important teaching and learning topics, share instructional ideas, build institutional capacity, and nurture cross-departmental relationships. CATLST Fellows gain increased opportunity to engage with diverse communities of practice, greater visibility at the institutional and state level, enhanced opportunity to build stronger relationships and collaborations with colleagues, enhanced intellectual growth and development in the area of teaching and learning, and increased opportunity to expand and develop institutional leadership skills. The Fellow Position is a .25 FTE reassignment or overload for two semesters, with an option to renew for two additional academic years.
Advisory Board
The CATLST advisory board serves as an essential connection between the center and the instructors we serve, helping ensure that the center’s programming is relevant and effective. The advisory board helps CATLST develop long-term goals and strategy. They offer feedback on the center’s initiatives and make recommendations for improvement and innovation. Additionally, they serve as reviewers for the annual Teaching and Learning Grants, Celebrating Teaching and Learning Conference submissions, and OPID program applications. CATLST advisory board members are advocates for CATLST programming, helping to promote the center’s work and build relationships within the institution. If you are interested in serving as an advisory board member, please contact Eric Loepp, CATLST Co-Director.
OPID Rep
OPID serves as a systemwide professional and instructional development resource for Universities of Wisconsin system institutions. Each system campus selects a faculty representative to serve on the OPID Advisory Council. Council reps attend annual meetings in the spring and fall, participate in Faculty College, and act as liaisons between UW system administration and their home institutions. The UWW OPID Campus Representative serves a three-year term.
